Uploading Resources
Ekphrastic lets you upload supporting sales content alongside your ROI Models and Calculators.
Uploaded content is stored as a Resource and can be managed independently, shared directly, or included in a Collection.
Supported Resource types
Ekphrastic supports three Resource types:
PDF Document
.pdf
Video
.mp4
Presentation
.pptx
Upload the supported file format for the type of Resource you want to create.
Upload a Resource
From My Resources & Sales Collateral:
Select + New.
Choose the file you want to upload.
Confirm the upload.
Wait while Ekphrastic uploads and processes the file.
You can upload one file at a time.
The maximum file size for an individual upload is 300 MB.
What happens after upload
After your file has been uploaded, Ekphrastic processes it so that it can be used within the platform.
During this process, the Resource may display Processing... in your workspace.
Processing can include preparing information and previews required by Ekphrastic for the Resource.
You don't need to manually publish the Resource after successful processing.
When processing completes successfully, the Resource is automatically published and becomes available for use.
PDF Documents
Upload a .pdf file when you want to add a PDF Document to your Resources.
Once processing completes, the PDF can be managed from your Resources workspace and used like other supported Resources.
You can:
Preview it
Share it
Add it to a Collection
Organise it in your workspace
Duplicate or replace it
Delete it when no longer required
Videos
Ekphrastic supports video Resources in .mp4 format.
After uploading the video, allow processing to complete before attempting to use it.
Once ready, the Video can be managed, shared and added to Collections like other Resources.
Presentations
Upload PowerPoint presentations using the .pptx format.
Presentations have additional functionality after processing because their individual slides can be managed within Ekphrastic.
You can also include ROI Models within Presentations.
For more information, see Creating & Managing Presentations.
Storage allowance
Resource uploads count towards your account's available storage.
Before an upload begins, Ekphrastic checks whether sufficient storage is available.
If the upload would exceed your available storage allowance, the upload is blocked.
You will need to free storage or change your available entitlement before uploading additional content.
For more information, see Understanding Usage & Limits.
If a Resource is still processing
A newly uploaded Resource may remain in the Processing... state while Ekphrastic prepares it.
Wait for processing to complete before trying to use the Resource.
The time required can vary depending on the file being processed.
If processing completes successfully, the Resource becomes available automatically.
If processing fails
If Ekphrastic cannot successfully process an uploaded file, you will receive a notification.
A Resource that fails processing may be automatically removed from your workspace.
If this happens:
Check that the file uses a supported format.
Check that the file is within the 300 MB upload limit.
Confirm that you have sufficient storage available.
Try uploading the file again.
If the problem continues, see Resource Upload & Processing Problems.
Publishing uploaded Resources
Successfully processed Resources are automatically published.
This means you don't normally need to manually publish a newly uploaded PDF, Video or Presentation before previewing it.
Publishing remains separate from sharing.
A published Resource does not automatically have a share link, and publishing it does not send the Resource to anyone.
For more information, see Publishing Content.
Organise your Resources
After processing, you can organise Resources using folders and tags.
Search, filtering and sorting can also help you find content as your Resources workspace grows.
Organising a Resource does not change its publication state, sharing links or Buyer Engagement history.
For more information, see Folders, Tags, Search & Sort.
Use Resources in Collections
Resources can be added to Collections alongside ROI Models and other supported content.
Adding a Resource to a Collection does not move or duplicate the original Resource. It remains independently available in your Resources workspace.
This allows the same Resource to be reused across different curated experiences.
For more information, see Adding & Organising Collection Content.
