Sharing Content

Ekphrastic lets you share ROI models, Resources and Collections using a shareable link.

Sharing is separate from publishing. Publishing controls the publication state of your content, while sharing provides a URL that you can send to someone.

What you can share

You can share:

  • ROI Models & Calculators

  • PDF Resources

  • Video Resources

  • Presentations

  • Collections

Each item is shared independently unless you use a Collection to bring multiple pieces of content together.

Opening Share

To share an item:

  1. Find the ROI Model, Resource or Collection in your workspace.

  2. Open the item's actions.

  3. Select Share.

  4. Choose the appropriate sharing option.

  5. Copy the generated link.

  6. Send the link using your preferred communication channel.

Ekphrastic does not automatically send the content when you create or copy a share link.

Choose whether you need tracking

When sharing content, an important decision is whether you want to measure engagement with the link.

Ekphrastic supports two types of sharing:

Sharing option
Buyer Engagement

Untracked link

No Buyer Engagement analytics are recorded

Tracked link

Activity associated with the link can appear in Buyer Engagement

Use a tracked link when you want to understand engagement with the content after sharing it.

Use an untracked link when engagement tracking isn't required.

A tracked share creates a unique link that Ekphrastic can associate with subsequent engagement activity.

When someone opens and interacts with content through that link, supported activity can appear in Buyer Engagement.

Depending on the content and interactions, this can include:

  • Sessions

  • Engagement time

  • Interactions

  • Intent signals

You can create multiple tracked links for the same item.

Each tracked link maintains its own engagement history, allowing activity associated with different shares to be reviewed separately.

Important: A tracked link identifies the link being used, not the individual person opening it. If a tracked link is forwarded to someone else, activity continues to be associated with that link.

Sharing without tracking

You can also share content without creating a tracked link.

An untracked link does not generate Buyer Engagement analytics.

This means activity from an untracked share will not appear as sessions, engagement or interactions in Buyer Engagement.

If engagement analytics are important for a particular share, create a tracked link instead.

Sharing a Collection

Sharing a Collection gives the recipient access to the curated experience represented by that Collection.

This is useful when you want to bring together several relevant pieces of content rather than sharing each item separately.

When a tracked Collection link is used, Ekphrastic can associate engagement with the Collection and activity involving content opened from within it.

The underlying ROI Models and Resources remain independent items in your workspace.

Sharing and publishing are different

Creating a share link does not change the publication state of the item.

Likewise, publishing an item does not automatically create a share link.

Creating another tracked link does not replace existing tracked links.

This allows the same ROI Model, Resource or Collection to have multiple tracked links with separate engagement histories.

Unpublishing and republishing an item does not automatically recreate its existing tracked links or remove their historical analytics.

Deleting the underlying content is different and may permanently remove associated tracked links and engagement history.
