Creating a Collection
Collections let you bring selected ROI Models and Resources together into a single curated experience that you can share with a customer or prospect.
Instead of sending several individual links, you can use a Collection to organise relevant content in one place.
What is a Collection?
A Collection is a curated group of content from your Ekphrastic workspace.
A Collection can bring together content such as:
ROI Models & Calculators
PDF Resources
Videos
Presentations
The content you add remains independently available in its original workspace.
Adding something to a Collection does not move, duplicate or delete the original item.
When to use a Collection
Collections are useful when you want to share several related pieces of content as one experience.
For example, you could create a Collection containing:
An ROI Model for the opportunity
A supporting presentation
A product or solution PDF
A relevant video
You can then share the Collection rather than sending each item separately.
You don't need to use a Collection when sharing individual content. ROI Models, Resources and Presentations can all be shared directly.
Create a Collection
From My Collections:
Select the option to create a new Collection.
Enter the Collection details.
Create the Collection.
Add the ROI Models and Resources you want to include.
Arrange the content for the experience you want to share.
Creating a Collection does not automatically publish it.
You can review its content and publish it when you're ready.
Add content
You can select existing content from your Ekphrastic workspace and add it to the Collection.
Adding content creates a relationship between the Collection and the selected item.
The original content remains where it was.
For example, adding an ROI Model to a Collection does not remove it from My ROI Models & Calculators.
Likewise, adding a Presentation does not remove it from My Resources & Sales Collateral.
Reuse content
The same ROI Model or Resource can be used without creating unnecessary independent copies.
This means your content can remain centrally managed while being included in curated experiences where appropriate.
If you remove an item from a Collection later, the underlying ROI Model or Resource remains in your workspace.
Organise Collection content
After adding content, arrange the Collection to create the experience you want the recipient to navigate.
Think about the order in which the content will be most useful.
For example:
Introduction → Supporting Content → ROI Model → Additional Resources
The most appropriate structure will depend on the opportunity and the content you're sharing.
For detailed guidance, see Adding & Organising Collection Content.
Publishing a Collection
A newly created Collection is not automatically published.
When you're ready, use the Collection's publishing controls to change its publication state.
Publishing the Collection does not publish or unpublish the individual ROI Models or Resources contained within it.
The Collection and its contents retain their own publication states.
For more information, see Publishing Content.
Preview a Collection
Once the Collection is published, use Preview to review its published experience from your workspace.
This gives you an opportunity to check the Collection before sharing it.
If the Collection is unpublished, workspace Preview is unavailable until it is published.
Share a Collection
Collections can be shared using the same tracked and untracked sharing concepts as other Ekphrastic content.
Use:
A tracked link when you want supported engagement activity to appear in Buyer Engagement.
An untracked link when engagement analytics aren't required.
A Collection gives you one shareable experience containing the selected content rather than requiring you to send separate links for every item.
For more information, see Sharing Content.
Track engagement with a Collection
When you use a tracked Collection link, Ekphrastic can record engagement associated with the Collection.
Supported activity involving content opened from within the Collection can also contribute to the Collection's engagement journey.
This can help you understand which content within the curated experience is generating activity.
For more information, see Understanding Buyer Engagement.
Collections don't change your original content
It's important to distinguish the Collection from the content it contains.
Add an item to a Collection
Original remains available
Remove an item from a Collection
Original remains available
Reorder Collection content
Original is unchanged
Delete the Collection
Contained items remain available
A Collection therefore acts as a curated experience around your existing content rather than becoming the owner of that content.
Deleting a Collection
If you no longer need a Collection, you can delete it without deleting the ROI Models or Resources it contains.
Deleting the Collection removes the Collection itself and can also remove its associated tracked links and Buyer Engagement history.
The underlying content remains available in its respective workspace.
Important: Removing an item from a Collection and deleting the underlying item are different actions.
If you only want to change what appears in a Collection, remove the item from the Collection rather than deleting the original content.
